I recalled having a pen-pal. It is now rather strange to think of in the age of social media. None of those outlet are adequate. As an adult it’s rather hard to consider anyone a friend. Years after building a relationship with someone it seem to come easy for them to gut punch me by openly rejecting one of my long held core beliefs. Americans call this throwing shit up in your face. In fact it did stink like shit.
Awww , Thia. It is like that everywhere. You can hardly see nor get good people these days , willing to be a helping hand , actually listening to you , being considerate and being there for you. It is not peculiar to you alone , therefore don’t take take it personally. You can reply to this thread if you need to correspond. You see , Pen Pal is still alive . So is making friends.
